Dragon Dash
Mark your calendar for the 4th Annual Dragon Dash scheduled for Friday, February 10, 2011.
What is it?
The Dragon Dash is a Lewisburg Elementary P.S.A. FUNdraiser in Kelly and Linntown schools where all of the students walk/run laps during a 15 minute time period during school hours.
How can parents participate?
Parents can come and cheer on their child on the day of the Dragon Dash. Only students and staff will be allowed to participate in the event. Also, parents are encouraged to volunteer at the Dragon Dash.
What happens to the money raised?
The money raised by the Dragon Dash is used to support school programs, special assemblies and purchases that benefit Kelly and Linntown students.

Students can seek and collect donations to be turned to their school. Donations are tax-deductible.
2011 Dragon Dash Wrap-up
We would like to send a big thank you to all the students, parents, family members and staff of Kelly and Linntown schools for their support of the 3rd Annual Dragon Dash. Because of the commitment of all those involved in the event, the students were able to raise $29,594.19*!!!!!! Congrats to all.
We would also like to thank the Klinefelter’s for DJing the events, the Eye Center of Central PA for donating the water and envelope expenses, the Printed Page for printing the envelopes, Executive Car & Limousine Service, Inc. of Lewisburg for providing the prize winning cruise through Lewisburg, all the parents who volunteered before and during the Dash, the Bucknell Cross Country and Track and Field teams who paced the kids and provided the timing clock and of course we can’t forget all those who worked up a sweat in the Dragon costume! We hope you all enjoyed the events as much as we did and we look forward to next year’s Dash. Get ready….GET set….DASH!
